The Drunken Swede: Meijer changes their price spread!

But understandable. RFG is going for $1.47 on the NYMEX, ethanol is going for $1.71 on the CBOT. So E85 has lost much of its cost advantage over the last few weeks. If it wasn’t for the subsidies, E85 would cost more than regular.

E85 Fueling Stations Approaching 2000

I’m all for cheap gas, but according to my calculations, E85 should be maybe $2 a gallon. Somebody is losing money on this. I’m guessing that there is excess inventory (of gasoline too). Probably the ethanol producers are taking it in

1999 Jeep Cherokee gas mileage

E85 in it? did not think so but they convinced me to drain the tanki and refill it. reset the computer codes, clean the plugs and a sensor? They said it should be OKay now. I start driving again and it only gets 8 mpg.
